Berghaus. Sounds German, but it’s British, and it has been making the best gear the outdoors has seen since 1966. Founded by mountaineers Peter Lockey and Gordon Davidson in Newcastle upon Tyne, Berghaus has been a pioneer of British adventure and a maverick of the outdoor scene for over half a century. From day one, Berghaus was defined by a drive to beat the elements by breaking from tradition and establishing a new culture of radical design, bold colour and technical brilliance.
